This Zinfandel comes from a large and reputable winery located in the heart of the Sierra Foothills at approximately 2400 ft. elevation. It’s a warm and high-altitude terroir where red wines find the perfect conditions to grow, like this Sola Zinfandel. This grape is one of the most planted varieties in the region.
Beautiful opaque purple color. Pretty floral and dark fruit aromatics. A classic Sierra Foothills flavor profile of blackberry, plum and rugged open field spices. The finish is a silky mouth feel, with a hint of black pepper, that leaves flavors lingering on your palate.
